Susan Stockwell will be featured in a major exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford entitled Money Talks: Art, Society & Power, from 9 August 2024 to 5 January 2025.
The exhibition explores the role of money in our world and how it has shaped different societies throughout history. Along with historical artefacts, Money Talks features works by artists ranging from Da Vinci and Rembrandt to Warhol and Banksy, who comment upon the balance between power, wealth and plentitude in their practice.
Susan is delighted to be presenting her work Money Dress in the exhibition, which aims to'...explore the place of money in our world through different artistic lenses.' You can find out more about the exhibition here.
