Barriers to Entry is a new exhibition at Breck Create by New York-based artist, Sharon Louden. This site-specific, abstract installation uses different types of media to shape colorful and reflective forms that symbolize spaces made difficult to enter, especially to women and other underrepresented individuals in mountain communities.
In her public talk, Sharon will detail life as an artist, including how she developed her visual vocabulary and her efforts (and successes) as an advocate for artists in many capacities, including her Living and Sustaining a Creative Life series of books and conversation book tours.
