Modern Gallery of the Saarlandmuseum is presenting the exhibition Oskar Holweck - Form and Texture on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the artist Oskar Holweck (1924-2007). On display are around 70 works from 1956 to 1996, sourced from the Saarland Museum, the Oskar Holweck estate collection and public and private collections in Germany - from expressive ink drawings and tear reliefs to book objects and paper sculptures. Together, they illustrate the variety of possibilities that Holweck developed with paper as a material over almost five decades.
